Waste Connections is actively looking for a Recycling Sorter at our Green Waste of Tehama Landfill location in Red Bluff, CA. 

This is a part-time position; Monday-Friday approximately 20 hours a week. Pay is $8.00/hr.

 The recycling sorter will sort through recycled material on a conveyer belt to move material to its appropriate area. May assist in cleaning, sweeping, maintaining recycling area. This candidate should be able to stand for extended periods of time and will work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities Include:

- Sorting recycled material onto different belts, areas - Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area - Assuming custodial duties as needed - Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment   Requirements:
Ideal candidate - Must be able to stand for extended period of time - will work in a fast-paced environment - 1+ years experience in a labor-type position. ...
